Happy Friday! Today, we are excited to spotlight Stephanie Smith.
1. How long have you been practicing family law, and what drew you to this particular area of law?
I have been practicing law for almost 18 years. I was drawn to family law after my 2L internship at the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, and then I was fortunate enough to start as a Law Clerk at CGG that summer.
2. What was your first job?
I worked retail at the Gap when I was 16.
3. What do you do on weekends to unwind after a busy work week?
Most weekends I am cheering on my kids at their events – soccer, flag football, basketball, and horse shows!
4. If you could have dinner with anyone – living or historical – who would it be and why?
Catherine O’Hara, because she was so wildly funny and completely unassuming about it. I imagine dinner would be full of laughter, but also a real conversation.
