CGG Welcomes Legal Clinic Intern – Meagan Kirchner

Cooper Ginsberg Gray is happy to announce that Meagan A. Kirchner has joined the firm as a Legal Clinic Intern for the Spring 2014 semester.  Ms. Kirchner is a third year law student at George Mason University School of Law and will graduate in May 2014.  At Cooper Ginsberg Gray, she will be assisting the attorneys and paralegals with legal research and other case work.  She will also handle her own caseload of Legal Clinic clients.  Ms. Kirchner holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from George Mason University.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kirchner worked in Human Resources for the Office of the Judge Advocate General, Department of the Navy.

The George Mason University School of Law Domestic Relations Legal Clinic was founded in 2004 by the Honorable Stanley P. Klein (Ret.) and is presently directed by the Honorable Leslie M. Alden (Ret.). Clinical students assist clients in obtaining uncontested divorces in the Fairfax County Circuit Court.  They meet with their clients, draft pleadings, review documents, and appear in Court for ore tenus hearings under the supervision of a licensed Virginia attorney.

We look forward to working with Meagan and to the assistance that she will provide us during the next several months.
