On Friday, June 26th, CGG kicked off it’s annual summer law clerk mock trial program. The firm gathered to watch Payton Davis and Kaelin Arnett participate in a mock Protective Order hearing.
This summer’s case is a fictional depiction of Taylor Frankie Paul v. Dakota Mortensen.
From preparing witnesses and exhibits – to drafting their presentations, this mock trial program gives our law clerks hands-on experience that hopefully helps them bridge the gap between law school and legal practice.
The end of their summer with us will culminate in a mock custody and visitation trial, which will further allow Kaelin and Payton to develop their courtroom advocacy skills!
