Melissa Thurmond joined Cooper Ginsberg Gray in 2024 as an Administrative Assistant.  Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Melissa moved to Virginia in order to attend George Mason University for her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. She is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at GMU’s Antonin Scalia Law School with the hope of becoming a family law attorney while working full-time with the firm.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, going out with friends and family, and spending time with her dog, Storm.
