National Donut Day

Did you know that today is National Donut Day?
National Donut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. The holiday is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of June.
Cooper Ginsberg Gray celebrated National Donut Day with a dozen donuts from one of the three Dunkin’ Donuts located in Fairfax City. Sadly, our friend Dunkin probably won’t have any donuts – though I am sure he would want to 
