Nathan J. Olson Participates in Legal Workshop at Fort Belvoir

On March 12, 2015, Nathan Olson traveled to Fort Belvoir to lead a workshop for the Staff Judge Advocate-Legal Assistance Office.  This Office assists active duty and retired military members and their families with legal matters, including family law issues. The Office is led by Christopher B. Rydelek, the Legal Assistance Chief.  The other members of the workshop included Mr. Maynard Henry, CPT Scott Spansail, CPT Jon Alexander, and Ms. Tracy Voelke

The workshop began with a morning roundtable discussion about family law issues involving service members.  The group then discussed intake procedures and office management.  In the afternoon, Mr. Olson provided feedback on the Office’s procedures and forms, and the group discussed how to eliminate ambiguities and avoid legal pitfalls when drafting settlement agreements.

Cooper Ginsberg Gray is proud to participate in events like this workshop in order to give back to those service members who work so hard for our country.
