On Saturday, September 26, 2015, Lois Jones and Joanne Randa attended the Paralegal Association of Northern Virginia’s annual Fall CLE. This year, the presentations included arbitration, mediation, and ethics in the digital age. Thomas Spahn, Esquire, Sharon Nelson, Esquire, John Simek, Judge Stanley Klein (Ret.) and Judge John Kloch (Ret.) spoke to the group on the various topics. Of particular interest was the panel presentation of Judge Klein and Judge Kloch regarding the mediation process and their views regarding mediation. Cooper Ginsberg Gray and the Roop Law Firm supplied the breakfast for attendees, and Planet Depos and JJ Rochefort supplied the working lunch. It was a very informative morning, and it was well attended by local paralegals and students.
