Cooper Ginsberg Gray is pleased to announce that Dr. Leah Nathan has joined the firm as a Domestic Relations Consultant. Dr. Nathan received her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Forensic Specialization) from Nova Southeastern University and holds several certifications, including in Advanced Conflict Management Skills. Dr. Nathan understands that people going through divorce or other family law events tend to lose confidence, become overwhelmed, experience indecisiveness and feel immobilized. Having worked with children for the past 8 years, Dr. Nathan also recognizes that children may experience a plethora of thoughts and emotions, including fear, anger, worry, shame, hope for reconciliation, self-blame, embarrassment and abandonment. Dr. Nathan will assist the firm’s clients in developing and/or enhancing specific skill sets, including informed decision-making strategies, mechanisms for constructive conflict resolution, tools for management of emotions, and maintenance of a nurturing, safe and secure environment for children. By providing both legal and emotional guidance, Cooper Ginsberg Gray hopes that our clients find themselves becoming more empowered and motivated to handle the post-divorce chapters in their lives.
