Anne Robinson attended the 35th Annual National Trial Advocacy College on January 9-14, 2016 at the University of Virginia School of Law.   The College provides intensive advocacy training for lawyers and law students.  The faculty is led by Stephen A. Saltzburg, Gerald F. Ivey, and Mary Lynn Tate, who provided excellent lectures and demonstrations for the participants throughout the week.  Ms. Robinson spent each day of the training practicing her trial advocacy skills with a wonderful group of lawyers who had similar levels of experience.  The training culminated in a mock trial that Ms. Robinson prepared for with her trial partner.  The jurors were volunteers from local high schools and took their responsibilities very seriously!  College participants also benefited from the advice and feedback of Federal and state court judges who volunteered their time during the mock trials.  It was a terrific week, and Ms. Robinson looks forward to applying the techniques and skills that she practiced.
