Heather Cooper and Robert Worster participated as faculty members at the Virginia State Bar’s Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course.

On Thursday, January 7, 2016, Heather Cooper and Robert Worster participated as faculty members at the Virginia State Bar’s Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course held in Alexandria at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel.  Heather spoke to the group of approximately 300 attorneys about Virginia’s disciplinary process.  Rob and Heather later assisted other faculty members with multiple break-out sessions featuring a variety of topics related to professionalism.  Our friend and colleague, Joe Condo, delivered moving remarks at lunch about the importance of maintaining professionalism in all of our work relationships, and finding the right balance between work and family life.  The faculty for this course, which is mandatory for all recently admitted lawyers in Virginia and is held several times per year in different locations throughout the state, consists of judges and attorneys who are committed to instilling the fundamental values of professionalism in new lawyers.
